Hello World!

I have taken enough time to carve the back-end of this blog in order to equip it with everything that I will be needing over the coming days while blogging. I thought of coming up with the first blog post tonight yet I was not certain of what to write. It is probably because this is for the first time I am writing something that has a certain value to my own audience and not just clients sitting on the other end.Life as a Freelancer

A couple of my juniors from the university asked me to write about my experiences as a freelancer so they can learn from the experiences I had in the short journey that I’ve made. I would be coming up with some of the most recent experiences though a couple of them were pretty weird but that is how it goes on when you’re dealing with offshore jobs. You cannot see the other person, all you can do is to have a text chat with him, share a couple of emails and at most, talk to him briefly about the job on voice chat services such as Skype. That is all you have to trust him and start working on the job. Now you’re lucky, and by lucky I mean real lucky if you have never been scammed by buyers sitting across the world.

Not all the clients out there are scams for sure. There are some great people who you come across with and work with. As a matter of fact, I have clients/friends around the world whom I talk to, do work for and get paid. Life is seriously more of an adventure online. The best part about freelancing is that you have a life that belongs to you and you have the complete control over it. You’re the boss and you’re the employ.

This first post was just a brief to what I will be writing about in the recent future. Freelancing and life as a Freelancer is a part of what this blog is going to be presenting.
